Family Therapy

Telehealth Support for Families Anywhere in Colorado

I offer trauma-informed family therapy for families who feel overwhelmed by changes and hard seasons, disconnected from each other, or stuck in conflict.

We'll explore the patterns, roles, and stories each family member has inherited. Together, we'll make sense of what's happening underneath the tension, work on repairing ruptures in connection, and strengthen how your family works together, so parents can feel steadier and everyone has a better balance of closeness and space.

We'll also build practical skills for communicating, regulating big feelings, and parenting with confidence, and I'll share clear information about what your family is facing so you can understand it together and support one another. Along the way, I'll help your family keep what still serves you, let go of what no longer fits, and grow toward a home rooted in safety, connection, and room for everyone to be fully themselves.

In our work together, we may draw from Structural Family Therapy (SFT), Bowen Family Systems Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Attachment-Based Family Therapy (ABFT), Emotionally Focused Family Therapy (EFFT), Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT), family psychoeducation, and somatic, whole-person approaches. I see families by telehealth anywhere in Colorado.

Who Takes Part

  • Adults Are the Clients
The adults in your family are my clients, and sessions are billed under them. I do not offer individual therapy to anyone under 18.

  • Children and Teens Are Welcome to Join
Kids and teens can take part in family sessions alongside the adults, as members of the family rather than as clients of their own.

  • Everyone in Colorado
Each person joining needs to be physically located in Colorado during the session.

Getting Started

Sessions are held by secure video and run 55 to 60 minutes, depending on the platform you book through. Insurance coverage for family sessions varies by plan, so check your benefits before you book.

If anyone in your family is unsafe at home, or in crisis, family therapy is not the first step. Call or text 988 to reach the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline.

Not sure family therapy is the right place to start? That is what the free 20-minute consultation is for.
